Eurotech Achieves 23% Growth
April 10, 2018 | EurotechEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Eurotech has just filed its latest accounts which show a 24% growth in sales from £12.9M to £15.8M.
Managing Director David Douglas commented:
“This has been our most sustained period of growth for a number of years, and is largely export led, with exports sales nearly doubling growth from £2.6M to £4.5M. Sales to Europe have been particularly strong, our biggest customers being in the automotive sector and the life safety product sector
I attribute the strong growth to excellent customer service combined with improved efficiency and output as a result of lean manufacturing activities. The fact that this growth has been achieved without any addition to the workforce is testament to this.
We have also invested heavily in new equipment, and we are in the middle of a £2m investment programme in our Exmouth Production facility. Unlike some of our competitors, we offer full UK volume production as well as offshore facilities which give us more flexibility along with customer choice and competitive advantage”
