Libra Industries Offers Complete AOI Traceability
April 24, 2018 | Libra IndustriesEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Libra Industries, a privately held electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, is pleased to announce that it has expanded its factory-wide Cogiscan Track, Trace & Control (TTC) Software to cover its AOI operation on multiple lines. A long-time Cogiscan customer, this system expansion demonstrates Libra Industries’ commitment to customer service.
Libra Industries now has complete traceability of its AOI operations with connectivity to its MIRTEC and Omron AOI systems. For AOI operations, the software will report defects and prevent failed products from moving downstream. This means traceability of rework and repair operations, as well as enhanced quality assurance and richer traceability history for Libra Industries’ customers.
“The expansion of the Cogiscan software eliminates manual entry of data collection,” commented Steve Schwaebler, Vice President of Operations, Libra Industries. “The software will lead us further into a Smart Factory and Industry 4.0 solution.”
The scalable, modular Cogiscan platform perfectly integrates with all major equipment types, and is highly configurable to enable a personalized solution for each customer’s specific production needs. “We are pleased to support the seamless integration of these AOI systems within Libra’s factory-wide TTC system,” states Mitch DeCaire, Global Director, Equipment Partnerships. “Cogiscan is proud of our long-standing relationship with Libra Industries.”
Cogiscan is the leading track, trace and control (TTC) solutions provider for the electronics manufacturing industry. Since 1999 Cogiscan has attained several international patents for TTC hardware and software, and has won multiple awards throughout the years. For more information, click here.
