Multilayer Technology (MLT) in Irving, Texas is pleased to announce the completion of an additional successful recertification. This current recertification is in addition to the recent Aerospace Supplier (AS9100C) re-certification. Completed through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime to MIL-PRF-55110 G Amendment 3, the recertification is for both Polyimide (GI) and Epoxy (GF) based products and is inclusive of etchback as well as foil constructions. This recertification marks the 10th consecutive certification for MLT. This spans the complete history of 30 years of maintaining the MIL-PRF-55110 certification.

Viny Mulani, president of Multilayer, said, “This is a continuation of our ongoing commitment to maintain our critical military certifications. Our current Quality Department is to be commended as the requirements to retain/maintain this certification are quite an arduous and time consuming task. Even with a great number of these programs moving to the COTS (commercial off the shelf) procurement methodology and or IPC Standards, we feel there is a significant operational benefit to maintaining these certifications.”

Multilayer Technology utilizes a majority of MIL Standards during the fabrication of over 70% of their current product. All of the plating baths are certified by outside third-party labs to meet or exceed the MIL Spec requirements with the majority passing Weapons Spec (WS) requirements.
