Cemtrex Inc. today announced that its Romanian manufacturing center has recently completed its ISO 9001:2008 certification. ISO 9001:2008 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard in the family that can be certified to.

The ISO 9000 family addresses various aspects of quality management and contains some of ISO's best known standards. The standards provide guidance and tools for companies and organizations who want to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customer's requirements, and that quality is consistently improved.

Saagar Govil, Chief Executive Officer of Cemtrex, commented, "The certification of our Romania manufacturing center is an important milestone for us today as we continue to expand our production capabilities in low cost countries. With this certification completed, we can now begin manufacturing more of our products in Romania while maintaining the highest global standards for our customers and competing with manufacturers globally. We expect that as our production in Romania begins to increase in the coming months that our gross margins will increase meaningfully. The certification took several months to complete and I want to commend our team for doing an extraordinary job."
